JPR Runs Tree-Planting Programs
With the increasing importance of tree-planting as a measure to help combat global warming, JPR has continued to plant trees in Southeast Asia once a year since 1999. Since 2012, the Japan Pallet Association has managed this scheme, recruiting a wide range of member companies to plant trees.
JPR will continue to participate in this activity.
Tree-Planting Activity
We participated in a JPA tree-planting tour. We visited an elementary school near the planting site and planted commemorative trees in the schoolyard with the students. After that, we played with a donated soccer ball and skipping rope, discussed the relationship between the environment and tree planting, and interacted with the students. With the help of the villagers, we planted 150 seedlings.
